The short version
We collect what you give us when you ask for a quote — name, phone, vehicle, photos, optional drop-off info. We use it to give you a quote and update you on the work. We never sell or rent your data. Text STOP to any message to opt out of SMS at any time.
1. What we collect
When you submit a quote request through this website or contact us by phone or email, we may collect:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- Vehicle year, make, and model
- A description of the damage or service needed
- Photos you upload of your vehicle
- Insurance details, if you choose to provide them (carrier, claim number, claim status)
- Preferred drop-off date
- Anything else you tell us in the "additional notes" field
- Technical info captured when you submit the form: your IP address, browser, and timestamp (used for fraud prevention and TCPA audit compliance)
2. How we use what we collect
- To prepare a repair quote and contact you about it
- To text or email you status updates if you opted in
- To handle your repair if you choose to proceed
- To request your honest review after the work is complete (only if you opted in to SMS)
- To meet our legal obligations (TCPA audit trail, tax records)
3. Text messaging (SMS)
We send SMS messages only to people who explicitly opt in by checking the consent box on our quote form. Two types of messages may be sent to you:
- Quote follow-up — when Gabriel has reviewed your photos and is ready to call
- Review request — after your vehicle is picked up, asking for an honest review
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, CANCEL, or END to any message. Reply HELP for help. Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of doing business with us.
We never share, sell, or rent phone numbers to anyone for marketing or any other purpose. Phone numbers are used only by GT Automotive to contact you about your repair.
4. Photos
Photos you upload are stored securely on Cloudflare R2 (encrypted at rest). They are used to assess damage and prepare your quote. We do not post them publicly without your explicit written permission. We retain them for the duration of your repair and up to 12 months after for warranty/insurance purposes.
5. Third-party services we use
We use the following service providers to operate the website and respond to you:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, photo storage, lead database
- Twilio — sending SMS messages (only with your consent)
- Resend — sending email replies and notifications
These providers process your data only on our instruction. They do not use it for their own marketing. We do not use ad-tracking pixels or third-party analytics on this site.
6. How long we keep your data
- Lead and quote details: kept while we may still serve you, deleted on request
- Repair records: retained for warranty + tax compliance (typically 5–7 years)
- SMS opt-in records: 5 years (required by TCPA)
- Photos: up to 12 months after pickup, deleted on request
7. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- See what data we have about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your data (we'll comply unless we're legally required to keep records — like signed repair invoices)
- Stop contacting you (text STOP for SMS, reply UNSUBSCRIBE on email, or call us)

8. Children
This website is for adults arranging vehicle repair. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we'll delete it.
9. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Customer data is stored on Cloudflare's encrypted infrastructure. Access is limited to GT Automotive staff who need it to do their job. We don't store credit card numbers — payments are handled in-shop or through our shop's payment processor.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Substantive changes will be reflected on this page; continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
